         Nur,a student from 3b,East nias,won the gold medal at theInternational English Contest held in Pekanbaru city march 3 January,news agency reported.

          Speaking to journalists,Diva said she was glad that she had been able to win the competition,which she said had been very tight.

          Pekanbaru city sent 10 students to the competition in Rumbai.Diva is not the first 3b student to win an international the competition.Lancang Kkuing University from Rumbai won gold at the International Olympiad in 2016.

          Pekanbaru,is the capital of Riau,on the island of Sumatra.This city is served by the Sultan Syrarif Kasim II International Airport and Sungai Duku Port that is located by the Siak River.Sultan Abdul Jalil Alamuddin Syah of the kingdom of Siak from Mempura to Senapelan,this twonship used to be the settlememnt only for some people,especially the sultanate's family.However,due to the development in the trading sector and the fact that more people decided to settle in this township,the Sultan wanted to make Senapelan become thecenter of the trading sector of the kingdom of the Siak.However,the sultan goal was not completely achieved,thereafter he decided to move the capital once again,to Siak Sri Indrapura. 

        There are several modes of transfortation in Pekanbaru such as taxi,bus,oplet,bajaj,ojek,and trans metro Pekanbaru.However,due to the rapidly increasing number of motorise vihicles,the traffic congestion that occurs on some roads such as Jl.Sudirman,Jl.Riau,jl.HR.Subrantas that mainly connect populous sub-districts in the city cannot be avoided the goverment of Pekanbaru to come up with plans to solve these matters,especially within 10 to 15 years ahead.

          Pekanbaru is the capital of the Riau Province.In PDBD(Pendapatan Domestik Regional Bruto) of Pekanbaru is number two in Sumatra and included in one of the cities with highest incomes forIndonesia.Pekanbaru has been developing well.this thing is caused by some factors.as we know,riau is so rich with gas and oil and it is managed by Pekanbaru goverment.Beside that,the orther sectors like banking,consunnption,and property are also pushing Pekanbaru more success in econimic side.Pekanbaru has many developments especially mall,plaza,or kinds of market.first,people will ge easy to shop.Like Pekanbaru mall in Jl.Sudirman,SKA mall in jl.Tuanku Tambusai,Ciputra mall in Jl.Riau,and the other.

          In conclusion,development in Pekanbaru give positive impacts ti increase people economic especially utilizing the development sector that is happening in Pekanbaru.Altought like that,it makes Pekanbru more narrow.It also brings traffic in some locations and makes the air of Pekanbaru is not really fresh again.So,we can keep making development in pekanbaru,but we have to make balancing with that people need .Making peolple become comfortable in the highway and get good air is priority.
